I have managed to change the Dread House website to 'ClassicPress' and I am really happy with it. I am heading towards a minialist experience. I find that a lot of the cms on offer attempts to all look the same. Wordpress is great, trying to stand out with it is difficult. ClassicPress is only lighter and easier to manage. I like this html site but, over a long period of time it will get tedious to manage and upload to. I want to be able to add to it with the podcasts and blogs and I think the best way is to use php. I have some study to do to get there though. html is not going to cut it, which is a shame because it's a language I already know.
When I built the framework for this site, I put code together to make it work, then I went back and changed the code to make it more effcient. I am not sure I have been successful but, it is lighter in the code department and let clunky. I am sure a superior coder will press command u and be horrfied. For now though, I am happy with this journey.I wonder where it will take me.
